Description :Rhino is a passionate portrayal of one of LeRoy Neiman's favorite themes - the animals of the African savannah. In this serigraph, Neiman places the viewer face to face with one of nature's most powerful and compelling creatures. He has portrayed this commanding animal with great intensity and respect.

The Rhinoceros is a living descendent of prehistoric creatures that once stalked the earth. With its powerful body, large head and monumental horn, we can imagine the days when the earth shook with the rhino's stampede.

Neiman captures the mighty rhino at its full power and strength. Using a brillant palette of stunning reds and glowing oranges, he has created a dramatic vision of this prehistoric creature. The serigraph depicts rhino's remarkable features - the solidity of the rhino's body, and the way his sturdy legs press into the warm African earth. Neiman's energetic brushwork and vivid colors are a perfect visual translation of the vibrant power and colossal energy of this remarkable animal.
